I've missed the Frindge Festival by some days but there are definitely other reasons to visit Edinburgh.
The landscape is pretty impressive: the mountains and the integration of the city in its setting makes it one of the most interesting cities to see in Scotland. It has a very historical feel and some areas are really picturesque and pretty. The moon enhanced the atmosphere whilst I wander around the city and the castle definitely made an impression under this scenario.
